"Highly recommended"

"I arrived at the property around 4:30 PM and was very disappointed with my experience. The property looked poorly maintained, and the surrounding area felt unsafe and uncomfortable to me. There were also many flying insects around the property. I asked the front desk employee whether the area was safe, and his response was, “If you’re concerned about safety, then don’t stay here.” That response made me feel unwelcome and reinforced my concerns, so I decided not to stay."

"My stay was only for a night; I wouldn't stay longer. The interior and exterior are not kept up. The bedding is questionable. I would consider bringing your own blanket and pillow or just covering the bed and pillows when lying on it. Their blanket is very thin. Wear socks or slippers; the floor is sticky, and bring an air freshener. Not sure what cleaning supplies are used, but the room needs airing out. It's a bad area or the surroundings are bad."

"My stay at the Sleep Inn was outstanding. The Front desk staff was helpful and enthusiastic about assisting me with downtown transportation. The continental breakfast offered variety and was delicious. The room was comfortable and clean. This was my first time in Chicago. This hotel stay was one of the reasons it was so enjoyable!"

"Just be aware when booking through third party sites, or at least follow up on the property site. I booked this room because it was close to a friend’s celebration that started 5p. Expedia had check in time for 3p and sent email confirmation for check in @ 3p. Arrived at 230 to see about a possible early check in since it was close to 3. "CHOOSE SOMETHING ELSE: This establishment plays games and is not concerned with customer satisfaction. At check in the room that was reserved 3 months earlier was not available. They told a few stories that didn't add up. First, my room was not ready yet, so If I waited 15 minutes it would be ready. When I said "ok I'll wait" they changed their story and said there was actually a problem with the room. I requested another room of the same kind and they didn't have one. "Liked nothing. property out of repair in every way possible. The on duty mgr said he would talk to his mgr about a possible partial refund but after speaking to others about this Run-Down property and fraudulent online current appearance and operation of this property, I doubt I will get any compensation Avoid this place at all costs!"

"Loved staying at this guest house. Me and my husband stayed for the weekend, the location was excellent, rooms were tidy, bed comfortable. First time ever trying a guest house situation and for a quick trip I would do it again. The deposit situation was a little unorthodox but we understand the reasoning why."
