"When we checked in we learned the pool was unavailable and were a little disappointed. Our room had strand stains in the shower and on the walls and beds had something along the sides on the bed skirts. Maybe from kids dirty shoes? We asked for a different room and there was nothing available. We contacted Expedia the next morning and they found us a nearby hotel to switch to and were amazing. I think the hotel is going through a change of management or remodel so hopefully it will improve."

Breakfast was delicious every morning, as were the cocktails, the nightly one-bite desserts, and the mezzanine level that was stocked with snacks! "Everything was awesome at this hotel. The breakfast was delicious, the bed was comfortable, and everything was spotless. My only complaint was that they only had queen beds when I booked a king. However, that was attributed to booking on Expedia and we were given a room with a nice view when I mentioned it was my 35th wedding anniversary. A good compromise."

"We booked two carriage house rooms for a long weekend and it was amazing. Let's start with the location. White Point Garden is directly across the street. It is an easy walk to the Battery. About a mile to Pineapple Fountain, etc. There is plenty of street parking (permit provided on check in) so you could park and walk almost anywhere. Or catch the free Dash bus nearby. "The room was nice and comfortable! The only downside was that there was a layer of dust almost everywhere in the room and there were old used towels still hung up on the door from the prior guests which was pretty nasty. Also the walls are paper thin. We heard everything especially being on the first floor. The wine and cheese hour on the 4th floor was such a nice touch and we enjoyed the continental breakfast."
