"Excellent place to stay while visiting Charleston "

"The hotel is centrally located in West Ashley. Easy to get to Charleston. I brought two dogs who were comfortable and thankfully quiet. Area to walk pets was plentiful. Staff was friendly, room was really clean and even the other lodgers were friendly!"

"The starlight motor inn is a gem. We felt so at home from the moment we walked in, from the friendly team, to the comfortable spaces. No detail was spared renovating the space, it is truly beautiful. We agreed the first night even before we experienced how comfy the beds were that this was our spot when we travel to Charleston. The unit is right across the street from a nice small Mexican restaurant with good margaritas (if you arrive early for check-in). The owner/manager was in contact in case we needed anything, but all was perfect."
