"The room is beautiful and very clean! They are bungalows in the middle of the forest, with breathtaking views. The property caretaker, Tony, is very polite. Strongly recommend this. Just a note, there is no restaurant around so you must drive to the beach or quepos to eat all meals. There is no room service nor any service at the pool. "

"We arrived to the hotel after dark, it was a little confusing finding it (wish there were a few more signs), but once we found it, we were very pleased! Staff was very friendly, room was super cute and very clean! The views were absolutely amazing!! We had the free breakfast and it was great. "Friendly and helpful staff, the rooms look new, recently renovated. There are little things that could make it even better, they didn't ask our opinion, but here they are :) The keys are the same, the big main door key didn't work and the receptionist said they are the same.. Also in the shower there was no shelf to put the soap or shampoo, and in the sink there was no plate for the soap. Also, some towels looked a bit stained. Maybe a staff member could regularly go around and check everything...

"We absolutely loved staying here. As a family of four we felt very comfortable in such beautiful and clean villas. Everyone was so nice and hospitable. The food was so delicious and the fresh fried plantains. Both the ladies in the kitchen were so sweet. Plenty of free private parking. The stairs are absolutely no issue, should you have one there is a wheelchair friendly route to take down to the villas/pool instead. We did not want to leave! If you’re wanting to stay near MA, stay here!"

You'll need a car but it's a 5-10 min drive to everything you want to see and it's very peaceful in the morning. It's small and there is no door to the bathroom so keep that in mind if there is more than 1 of you. The bed was not very comfortable but nothing a nice morning stretch on the rooftop didn't fix. "If you’re visiting Quepos / Manuel Antonio I highly recommend staying at Hotel Plaza Yara!! It is such a vibe and absolutely stunning; from the anterior design, the art gallery in the lobby, the pool and incredible views of the jungle that surround the hotel.
