I lost my wallet while walking between a restaurant and the hotel, and Ms Rinka volunteered to take me to the police station and help me file the police report. "We loved the staff and hospitality at Momijiya. My husband said it felt like we were staying at our grandma's house. We loved the ryokan experience as well. "Lovely 100-year old house repurposed as guest house. Modern additions such as air con and shower room added around original building with wooden sliding doors and futon beds. Lovely, helpful owners met us and showed us everything - thank you!"

"The house was amazing. Very warm, convenient location to relax in the city. I would recommend. As other reviewers said, there is a motion detector light going off many times at night and you can hear a bit the cars in the night passing, but that was not a problem for us at all. Would definitely rebook."
