A quick stroll to the beach, offering plenty of eateries, with options for all. The pool was an absolute god send as the weather was just perfect. "On arrival, gave our room key and shown entrance when pub shut how to use everything etc. Put in a room which was fine but had tape down across the floor to the bathroom. When we asked for towels, Tommy apologised and said we should not even be in that room, so he helped my husband move to a bigger and better room. Tommy could not do enough for us. "Hotel has its own car park which is very convenient, but the main Torquay train station is also in very close proximity. Didn't take too long either to walk from the hotel, along the sea front and to the harbour area. Room was very comfortable, albeit on the top floor and might not have been accessible for anyone with mobility issues. "Lovely guesthouse that has been updated but still has kept its beautiful character. The owners Carl & Tace were so friendly from the get-go and we really liked our room, especially the bed itself, how clean it was and the location. You’re really close to the centre, sea and a nice little park/gardens opposite.
