"Upon arrival, we were very excited about our first time visiting New Mexico and thought we had found the perfect hotel. Unfortunately, our experience started off poorly during the check-in process. We spent about 30–45 minutes at the front desk even though there was no line or other guests waiting.
The employee at the front desk asked for my ID, which I handed to him, but instead of handing it back he tossed it back to me. I immediately called him out about it. When you work in customer service, basic respect should be expected.
While checking us in, he also said he could not find the second room that was included in my reservation. I explained that both rooms were booked and fully paid for at the same time when I made the reservation. Several employees then came over to check the computer, my email confirmation, and even the back office. During this process, my best friend’s credit card was also charged an additional $700.
Eventually they figured out the issue. Somehow the reservation had been placed under another traveler’s name, even though it had already been paid for.
We requested to have our rooms on the same floor and connecting if possible. They were able to put us on the same floor, but the connecting rooms never happened.
Then on the third night, the air conditioner in our room stopped working in the middle of the night. It was an extremely miserable night, especially for someone like me who suffers from severe asthma. The heat made it very difficult to breathe"
"We needed an inexpensive place to stay in ABQ and found this gem. It's right off the interstate; easy to find.
If you need a no frills, place to sleep, this us it. Beds were comfy, separate tub/toilet room from sink area which makes it easy for 2 ppl to get ready. Large tv (larger than some more expensive hotels have), microwave, a large mini fridge. Room was clean.
Gal at front desk at check-in was helping someone else so mgr/owner came out of office to help. Both were pleasant.
Hotel offered coffee in It's lobby, no breakfast. Not ahuge deal, we just went elsewhere to eat. There is a McDonald's next door and a Starbucks and Smith's grocery store kitty corner from hotel. Lots of other food options nearby.
If you want a clean place to stay while in ABQ, I'd highly recommend this property."
"Room was good and seemed cleanly. The thing that was strange was we were standing by our truck and trailer which had 2 parking passes visible on the outside. A man approached us weirdly and started asking us questions about if it was our vehicle and room numbers. We gave it to him and said we literally just checked in about an hour ago and he said he was going to check to make sure everything looked fine otherwise he was going to make us leave. We waited and also went to the lobby to check a make sure everything was good and no one was there or came back to confirm everything was okay. Very weird. "
"Fantastic communication skills enjoy the stay beds were comfortable loved everything about it will absolutely be staying again next trip to Albuquerque"
