"Good options for breakfast, staff were helpful and friendly (helped us book taxis, etc), bed was huge and comfortable. Blackout blinds helped us sleep. Fridge in the bedroom was useful, and shower was nice and hot. Walking distance to the square was a positive too"
"Eder and family were incredible hosts with a wonderful setup in the Uros floating community off of Puno. The meals were all simple and delicious. The room we had was a very cool A frame with plenty of glass to soak in the views and night sky. Highly recommended a stay at Casitas Del Titicaca!"
"This hotel was exceptional! The view was phenomenal from our room as we were able to see lake Titicaca as well as the sun rises. The staff were very friendly and were available for anything that we needed.
They have a beautiful terrace out back that can be used for great pictures and for an outside sunset picnic.
There is also a pier nearby so you don't have to go into the main city to access any boats if you are visiting Uros.
Hotel is in a gated area so it feels very safe. However, it is uphill. So if you don't want to walk up hills, this is not the hotel for you.
The breakfast was the best we've had in Peru. "
"Our stay at Titicaca Origins was nothing short of magical. The boat transfer through the reeds to the tiny floating islands is fascinating and waiting to greet us was Delia with a huge smile. We stayed in a luxury room which was absolutely stunning with mahogany wooden floors, and panoramic windows to allow you to drink in the views and stargaze by night. It was sheer joy to sit on the deck a world away from reality soaking up views of the reed islands and the surrounding mountains. The star of the show was Angie, the newest member of the family and a curious 2 year old keen to engage with visitors. Despite her grandmother repeatedly showing up to take her away, she would find her way back for dancing, drawing and childish chatter. What an angel! Staying here gave us insight into life on the islands and provided a unique experience which I would highly recommend. As you snuggle into the giant bed layered with warm textiles and topped with an hot water bottle you will feel like you have truly arrived somewhere special."
"This hotel was a much-needed stay! It was so warm and they even have a wood-fired stove in the lounge. Staff was friendly and helpful and rooms were spotless and modern. "
"Les hôtes sont extrêmement accueillants et serviables. Les services et la nourriture, considérant le fait que nous sommes sur une île, sont excellents!"
