"Our stay at Catskill Seasons exceeded our expectations. The room was just wonderful, clean, large, and with pleasant decoration. The kitchen had everything, we also had a great shower, and everything in the room was of top quality. We were surprised. We did not even bother with the TV not working, because what we really wanted was peace and quiet, to be away from the news. Because we arrived on Sunday afternoon, we could not enjoy the breakfast included in the booking. This did not prevent us from enjoying our stay. Phoenicia is very close, and we had dinner and breakfast there. The property is very well located, near main roads in Catskill County. Scenic driving was a delight. In our room, there was a balcony that opened to green mountains and the starry sky, which we truly enjoyed. We would return by all means."

"While the room itself was clean, there were several issues that make this a bad stay. Both of the sheets were clean, but had some orange and red stains. The towels provided were tattered and had significant holes in them. The gap between the outside door and the floorboard was quite large, with nothing stopping bugs/mice from coming inside. I stayed in room 3, and I could hear whispers from room 2 like they were right next to me, so don’t expect any privacy. Finally, when we arrived we were told there would be housekeeping. After getting back from a long day, it became clear that housekeeping had not come. Not only were the beds not made, but our towels had not been changed. We had left them on the floor expecting them to have been swapped and as such we had nothing to dry ourselves off with and were unable to shower. This was not a scheduling issue either, we left at 7:30 AM and got back the next morning at 1:03 AM. There’s also a single lock for the door, and it’s a chain latch. If you’re staying here, being your own towels, and mind any critters that come from under the door."

"The room was huge - one bedrm with a king bed, lots of drawers, a closet, a desk and a tv. A livingroom with a couch, two comfy armchairs and tv. Yet, it is described as a 'solo' room meaning it is for one person - We had to pay an extra $50 for my partner which I thought was odd! There were two ACs, one in each room, that were set to 67⁰ - this Memorial wknd it was 50⁰ and raining. We tried to raise the heat but to no avail, it was blowing cold air. We were freezing - the owner offered us a blanket or a heater, we took the heater and it worked well. The sink water in the bathroom barely had pressure but that was not too troublesome. We were, however, a bit skeeved by the towel on the back of the bathroom door which we assumed was used by the previous guests. The breakfast was continental - Keurig coffee machine, packaged cereal, pastries and bagels, some apples and oranges, yogurt - available throughout the day, not just for brkfst so that was grt. We had dinner in the restaurant downstairs which was a great idea as it was decently priced, the food was good and the staff attentive. Every door had a digital lock including the main door to the outside; we were given codes instead of keys which I thought was quite efficient though we had to do a bit of door pushing/pulling upward for the lock to engage both when locking and unlocking the door. We would def stay there again."
