"The only good thing about this place is the very good location. Unfortunately, the hotel itself was dirty, noisy, dusty, and far too expensive for the quality offered. The building facade seriously needs restoration, and the toilets and common areas need much better cleanliness and maintenance. Overall, very disappointing experience. One star is more than enough."

"Review: Hyatt Place Albany Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (An upscale Tetris game with breakfast) If you’ve ever wanted to sleep inside a beautifully clean, ultra-modern geometric box, this is your place. Everything in the room is a sharp rectangle, including the giant sectional sofa that feels like it’s plotting a corporate takeover. The highlight was definitely the 7:30 AM breakfast buffet—a high-stakes battlefield where business travelers in crisp suits stare down families over the last egg frittata. The coffee is strong enough to jump-start a dead car battery, which is essential because the toaster operates at the speed of continental drift. Great location, incredibly patient staff, and walls thick enough that I couldn't hear my neighbor's existential dread. Would absolutely stay again, if only to reclaim my honor at the oatmeal bar."
