"We like to support small businesses and during travel we often stay at houses like the Wiltwyck. We enjoy sending good reviews but in this situation we can not and want to alert fellow travelers what we experienced. We were so disappointed in the accommodations that we left a night early. First impressions do matter. The front of the house was untidy with overgrown bushes and weeds. We appreciate that parking was free but the parking area is very tight and the driveway narrow and steep. I’m...

"Perfect place to stay the night. You can hear the train passing by, but there are ear plugs and a white noise machine in the room. It didn't bother us at all, but it might other folks"

"Property is pristine, quiet, extremely comfortable, lots of space, great outdoor deck. It is very near Omega institute. It vould easily be used for personal retreat because it is nestled in quiet woods. We would defitely return enroute to Maine or NE for a night's stay."

Managers John and Pamela Wurster are not only genuinely welcoming, but they treated us to some of the best coffee and croissants we’ve ever had—plus some fresh summer plums! The lovely white picket fence-enclosed yard is filled with flowers, birds, and happy squirrels and chipmunks—and great restaurants and fun shops are just a 5- to 10-min walk away."
