"The property is beautiful. Our room was lovely—very clean and comfortable. The seating in our room was perfect for reading, and the balcony an extra treat. Allen was so gracious and helpful. The location was great for dinner plans and a short easy drive to Churchill Downs. Breakfast was delicious—especially the biscuits and gravy. And, the young lady that served us breakfast was very nice and helpful. I’d recommend this Bed and Breakfast to anyone who is planning to spend time in...

"Breakfast was excellent. Rooms were clean. Beautiful neighborhood. Close to a wonderful park with live performances of Shakespeare. A couple hitches with checking in and getting a code but otherwise very satisfactory stay."

"The Staybridge in Louisville, Kentucky was very clean, the staff was very friendly and we enjoyed our stay there very much. Breakfast of course was fabulous. It’s near the airport so know that you will hear planes go by all night long. We had an accessible room, which it was very disappointing to not have any grab bars in the bathroom. I had to help my son he could not take care of his own needs."

"We were in town for a concert. Venue was 1.5 miles away. Hotel was clean, great staff, plenty of free parking and convenient snack purchase availability. Two social areas with TV's and bar available. Great to watch Final game of NBA and cheer along with complete strangers!!"

"Such a lovely building, clearly loved by all who work there. Information about the property, check-in procedure, etc. was communicated very clearly before my arrival. Fresh lemon blueberry scones were there for a snack when I arrived near midnight. Wow. When booking, I didn’t think about the lack of elevator at this property. My 68 year old knees did complain a little when climbing the external & interior stairs with my luggage."

"This hotel is very dated. The floors and elevator were dirty. Over 500 rooms with ONE working elevator. We stayed on the 6th floor and had to walk the stairs, up and down, to leave the room. The AC barely worked. It ran all night and the room got warmer. It was 74 and felt like 84. We contacted maintenance and got zero resolution. We got very little sleep. I would never stay here again. I would sleep in my car first."

"Very nice hotel, staff was pleasant. However, when asked for extra pillow was advised that only maintenance had access. I think the front desk clerk was the only person on duty. Which I Found that kind of strange that there was no one else available since the hotel was very busy."

"The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was large and had a big couch and a desk. But the bed was much too firm and the carpet looked dingy. The lighting was too dim, even in the bathroom sink area. Breakfast was better than some other chain hotels, but we missed it on our last day because they had only told us the hours for the weekend, and breakfast ends earlier on weekdays."

"Due to closing of 65, I needed a place to stay close to UofL for my son's orientation. We've never stayed in this area. But it was super close and easy. Small hotel, but quiet and convenient. It's by the airport, so expect air traffic noise, but otherwise perfect stay."

"The room was very spacious and clean. The lobby area was also very clean ut what was very disturbing was the trash in the parking lot and even right in front of the entranceway. when I mentioned the trash the front desk clerk after checking me in immediately went outside and picked up the trash."
