"Our room was comfortable and extremely quiet. It was disappointing there was nowhere to sit as the pictures for a studio with double bed clearly show a simple bench sofa or a chair by the bed. We had a strange useless leather table (if that's what it was?) instead. When asked Reception said studios do not have any seating... The bathroom was very small and in contrast the fridge was enormous!! Nowhere to store groceries other than in the wardrobe! Finally, be aware that the bed is on a wooden...

"I loved my stay at the Brae. It was the perfect place to get over jet lag as I embarked on a one-month vacation of the U.K. It’s a couple of miles outside of town, and the bus to downtown stops right in front of the house, which was perfect. Very comfortable for sleeping. Having a bath tub to soak in after a day full of walking was heaven. Graeme was an extremely welcoming and informative host. Definitely recommend t He Stay at the Brae."

"We stayed for three nights. The room was clean and quiet. We liked the separate livingroom/kitchen area with a door separating it from the bedroom. I have a bad back but the bed was comfortable enough. The bedding was very nice. There is a Tesco grocery store right around the corner. We bought groceries for breakfast and late dinner, but ate one meal a day at restaurants while out. We also packed snacks or bought desserts while out. It was nice having a full kitchen. "The rooms was spotless, its a very old building but modern and decorated beautifully, the bathroom was so clean and the shower was nice and powerful. The man was really friendly and the building its self is just amazing, all 5 of us (3 kids ) were impressed. The beds are the comfiest weve ever slept on. 100% would recommend this place .
