"This little guesthouse is nestled away down an unassuming backstreet next to an upmarket Vegan restaurant. We were greeted by a very friendly and enthusiastic gent who showed us to our room. The narrow steep staircase is quite tricky to manoeuvre when carrying large luggage. The room is nice and comfortable with all the amenities you’d expect. "It sells itself like a homestay but is more of a hostel. Room didn't appear like the photos online, wasn't clean on arrival and wasn't cleaned daily. Bought a city tour thru the owner; it was poorly organized and run. No-one to meet me on arrival, and the owner showed up at 11pm wanting to settle the bill (I was in bed). No English speaker on the premises, and frequent miscommunication over drop off & pick up times/locations. For the price, you can stay in one of the more attractive and better...

"The host was lovely, great communication from him prior to our trip. He organised our airport transfer for a very reasonable fee in a nice comfortable car. The room was gorgeous, with a nice shower. Please note though that the map with location on hotels.com does not accurately show you where this lovely place is, use the address and look this up before you book (we went to the wrong location first!)"

"The price is too cheap compare with the location value. Room is spacious and facilities are clean, especially they have laundry service with cheap price. Breakfast was delicious with sandwich, tea and fruit. The staff are very friendly. They booked bus ticket and gave me discount which is much more cheaper than I went to travel agency. The location is just north of the lake in the Old Quarter which is filled with local cafes and shops. I will be back next time"

"Rooms are adequate with private bathroom just outside the room. Washing machine on the rooftop. Community kitchen on the first floor with refrigerator and stove. Quiet and private in back alley, and there are only about four rooms total. Each room is on each floor up the winding stairs. There's no front desk but once a hotel is very accessible and will come if there's any need, especially to let you in the first time. "
