"Our host Brenda was very warm and welcoming; she even put our melting chocolate in her freezer for us. It was the hottest day on record and she made sure we were comfortable and cool in our room. Breakfast was top notch in addition to self-serve juice, toast, yogurt, cereal, granola, etc. She made sure we were all satisfied and her staff helper was very attentive to our needs. "Pros: All staff was very friendly and helpful. Free breakfast (and other meals) from the adjoining restaurant, Jack Fenn, was good. Parking was easy and convenient, being free, and right outside the front door. Very comfortable environment, loved the smell of the fire as we walked in to check in. Nice wooded area to walk around (although I was disappointed in humanity to see so much trash along the beautiful trails). Cons: Water was barely warm enough to shower, but good water pressure. ...

"Short 10min drive from town core - - great amenities and reasonable price if you're looking to be away from the hustle and bustle in the middle of a trip. Highly recommend hiring an electric mountain bike in town from Chain Driven Cycles and driving to Coolaney - - beautifully manicured trails."

The hotel is perfectly located. The suite had everything we needed and the massive bed was super comfy. I cannot recommend this place enough."

"Finding a room for a family of 5 is hard enough but I had high hopes for Diamond Coast. I was highly mistaken once we arrived. We arrived about a hour before check in and I asked the receptionist if our room was ready. She was very rude but gave us a room that was ready. I shouldn’t have taken it. The room fit us fine, but it was dirty and smelled like old wet dog. The carpet was stained and the glasses in the bathroom were dirty and had old toothpaste all over. We were only there for one night...

"If I could rate our stay higher I would. Everything was exceptional. The people who operate the lodge are kind, helpful, and just all around awesome. They let us store our bags ahead of check-in and hangout in the common area post check out. The room itself was super clean. Awesome spot, good value and vibes. We'll 100% stay here again, highly recommend."
