"I made a booking for this house but a day before my trip the house I was staying in got swapped for another after the cancellation period. We arrived at the property and it was unclean with a smell of cigarettes, rotting chicken and rotting vegetables. The sheets were not clean, the tub was dirty and the toilet was filthy. All the provided cookware such as mugs were disgusting. It was such a bad smell that we couldn’t sleep so we left at 3 AM"

"Positives: Really nice living area, big TV, pool table (we didn’t use), well equipped kitchen, really nice bathroom, my bed was comfy, neighbourhood felt safe, good communication from owner/manager(?). Issues: Some beds were less comfy - dodgy springs, very creaky, only provided with one very small toilet roll (between 5 of us!), we couldn’t get the hot water to work but didn’t really have time to try and sort it out so just had cold showers, pillows could do with replacement - one was really...
