"Our stay at Sierra House was great. We were visiting over the July 4th holiday and stayed in their new buildings. The forest view was stunning from the top floor and the rooms were brand new, clean and very tastefully decorated. "I booked this hotel room for two nights for the 4th of July weekend. When we arrived there was not anyone at the front desk and nobody would answer the phone. Finally someone arrived at the front desk and he could not find the reservation but he took me to a room anyway. The room was clearly dirty and had not been cleaned from the last people to use it. "While the room was clean, the hotel is u dergoing renovations. Our room was missing the trim around the window. The pool and spa were closed. No where in the listing on Expedia did it mention this was occurring. Was disappointed as the hot tub would have been nice for my husband who is hiking the Pacific Crest Trail. It was one of the reasons I chose it. Also, the hot items for breakfast were not ready at 6:30 am."
