"Arrived at the property with the host outside smoking with the guests as we tried to check in the host had to use the bathroom mid process. Got our room first floor as the elevator is out of order. But the plentiful skills games were all functional in the lobby. Got your room .. lots of hairs all over the bathroom tub sink toilet very little water pressure water was hot and the heater worked !! It served its purpose a quick nights rest and shower. The complementary continental breakfast consisted of a box of honeybuns and a community gallon of milk"
"This sleeping is now Suburban Studios
Hotel has been remodeled. Hotel is clean Rooms have a regular size refrigerator, microwave, cabinets with bar sink. Bathroom sink and mirror is in the room is separate from toilet and shower which is a small area. Bed was comfortable, breakfast was prepackaged items. We went next door to Denny’s. Shopping and dining across from parking lot.
I didn’t care for the smell of the Cleaning products.
Definitely a dog friendly place even if your dogs bark.
Perfect For long stays."
"Holiday Inn Express is our favorite place to stay when visiting the Johnstown area. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and spacious. The morning breakfast is quite good."
"Our whole hallway smelled like marijuana smoke. I did let the front desk know, and they did offer to move us. However, it was pretty easy to tell where the smell was coming from, and I fell that if the policy is NO SMOKING in the rooms, then they should be told to smoke outside. I have a child with severe asthma and a missing lung. They should be made to quit smoking INSIDE, instead of my family of 5 having to pack up and move. Otherwise, we got what we paid for."
"The staff was exceptional. We asked for a few extra blankets and they were brought to the room within a few minutes. Staff couldn't have been more helpful and "on top of things" . Very impressed!"
"The rooms were clean. The staff consisted of the woman who was leaving and told us our keys were in the lockbox. Which was the last time I saw anyone in our 3 night stay. We asked about the bar and she said it's been closed for a few years. No restaurant either. Positive was our group of 6 had the place to ourselves. So if you need extra towels, you may want to bring your own. Positive side was it was quiet."
