A nice quiet location. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was spacious. Good variety and quality of in-house meals and drinks. Minor issue with plumbing (sink and bathtub were slow to drain).

I was notified by Villa Tegal Tis Ubud at 9:44 am the day I was supposed to check-in that there was an issue with the Mastery Circuit Breakerr and my room was no longer available. Understandable, things happen. But check out at my previous hotel was noon and checkin at the next hotel was to be 2 pm. I was unable to find the sister hotel where they were going to place me with their help. So I had to search on my own. They finally got back to me with a number at 3:30 pm (1.5 hours after checkin) with a number not a name. Thanks to my own research i found the sister hotel, Tiying Ampel. Although it was closer to Ubud Centre the accommodations were not comparable. The room was smaller, the cleanliness was unacceptable, ants the size of a dime were in the room (I’m highly allergic), and too small for two people to stay comfortable. My previous room was a One Bedroom Pool View Villa. Replacement room was nothing of the sort. Then to top of it off the manager told me that I had to pay a cancellation fee since I decided not to stay there. They cancelled my reservation and provided a solution that was not equal to my request. Let’s just say I won’t be booking here again. Mangosteen Hotel was a great replacement.

Small Paradise

Perfect hotel when you are looking for a place take a rest. Peaceful place surrounding nature. The staffs were kind but they need to improve their service. TQ!
