"Amazing place, lovely staff and fantastic views. We had an amazing time here, its only got a few rooms I think it’s 8. So the service felt really personal. On the last day I lost my voice, the staff were so nice they made me a Dawa to help smooth my throat which I really appreciated. I think it’s these little personal touches that make this a special place. I highly recommend it"

"A great find! The room was spacious and well maintained, the host was lovely, and it was a close walk to numerous stalls with a variety of goods and amazing fresh produce. Having a kitchen allowed me to stay in if I wanted, but the apartment was also close to bars and restaurants. There is a close-by bar that plays loud music, but not super late, and I actually liked hearing the local music. The people I met were so friendly! And really, the host was very accommodating and responded to questions...

"The breakfast included us amazing. Eggs made to order, sausage/bacon, yogurt, fruit, juice, the best coffee I had in Kenya, and a wonderful selection of breads. The staff was lovely… each and every one. The pool is small but well cared for and clean. I liked being off the beaten track and yet only a couple of blocks away from the beach. I was traveling solo so for safety paid a local to walk me back to the hotel after dinner on the beach. I was very sad to leave this little heaven"

"Retro Boutique is a great, small hotel near Diani Beach. I stayed in the deluxe double room on the top floor, and I was amazed at how large my room was. Most if not all the rooms have a balcony, but my room had two balconies. One in the front of the room and one in the back of the room.
