"We were disappointed with our stay. When we arrived after a long travel from Chicago, we were informed that there was a strike so services were radically reduced (no room cleaning, no secure luggage storage, reduced restaurant,bar service, no room service). Also the gym was closed for renovations. We understand the strike was out of their control but we asked from some compensation for the reduced services (restaurant credit, reduced rate, etc) and were offered 2 small pieces of chocolate. ...

"Pros: Centrally located. Our room was spacious and clean. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Great rooftop view. Good breakfast. Cons: There is ongoing construction work just outside the hotel, which generates a lot of noise, especially in the mornings. To be fair, the hotel informed us about this before our arrival. Additional Info: There is a restaurant and bar on the rooftop. If you want a table, I recommend booking in advance, as it appears to be a very popular spot."

"This hotel is in a great location in Oslo. It is just a few minutes away from many attractions in the city center, such as the Munch Museum and Opera House. There is a tram station right next to the hotel that takes you many places around the city. There are plenty of good resturants, cafes, as well as grocery stores for different food options. "Really nice and cosy hotel. Amazing location. Super friendly staff. Can store luggage before check in and after check out. Bed is very comfortable, the rooms don't feel small at all. A little bit noisy from neighbouring rooms/corridors/street noises but it is to be expected when staying in a hotel within the city centre. "

"Nice place but a bit on the tiny side. It would have been nice to at least have a mini fridge in the room to keep some breakfast things handy. Had problems with my electronic key and iPhone, problem was fixed by giving me a physical key fob. Hope they get this sorted before it happens to other guests with iPhones!"

"Het hotel ligt in het centrum van Oslo en is prima met het OV bereikbaar. Een half uurtje met de trein vanaf het vliegveld en je staat in het centraal station, op 100 m van het hotel. De staf is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Voorafgaand aan ons vertrek richting Oslo werden we geïnformeerd dat er een staking was, waardoor het restaurant niet open was. "Clean and perfect location. Staff at the front desk were extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great with a lot of options but staff were not as friendly as the front desk. Close to metro and bus stations only 10 min walking. Highly recommend staying there"

"Comfy hotel across the square from Oslo central station. Some rooms may be noisy late on weekends due to people out partying (ear plugs solved that!), but otherwise it’s a great hotel, really convenient for transport ."

"Good clean hostel, looks like loads of fun during the high season. Unfortunately, I was visiting during off-season of travel so there wasnt much socializing but they host events almost every night, so there are lots of opportunities to connect and meet people. The only problem I had was the kitchen for the dorms only consists of microwaves and sinks, unless I somehow missed a cooking area."
