"The rooms were clean and a nice size for a family of 4. The ac had a hard time circulating the air thankfully we had a mini fan we could use to help that out. We mainly went for the pool and hot tub to entertain my family during our downtime. We found out it was under maintenance the night we got there. when I asked about it she said it would be ready the next day. It wasn’t ready until 12pm and the hot tub wasn’t working. The pool was very chlorinated but it was probably because of the maintenance.
We asked and paid for late check out (by 2pm) they not only came by the room and checked on us for check out @11am but they also called us at 12pm to ask if we were staying an extra day? As we were packing our car the cleaning person was standing at our door waiting for us to leave. We ended up leaving by 1:30p but I wish it was communicated we were staying til 2."
"Everything was good but the lady in the breakfast nook. She was watching every time a black person walked in to take their breakfast. My review is not about racism. It is about the fact that I was uncomfortable with her standing there and screaming at my adult son when he attempted to make his waffle. I had to take stand and asked her why she was micromanaging what specifically any black folk that entered the area. She responded is because she saw many people doing things they was not supposed too. Like picking up the food with their hands. I said but that is not our case you are really making it uncomfortable. Do you always stand and watch. This was very weird. Her and an older maintenance white guy who is her buddy. He actually sits on one of the breakfast tables and watch. Oh my, oh my son weird. Aside from that the hotel was good. They change my room because the tub was not working properly."
"We had a wonderful stay at Best Western! The hotel was exceptionally clean, and every staff member we encountered was welcoming, friendly, and helpful. The location was perfect—right off the interstate, which made traveling with children so much easier. The rates were fantastic for the quality of the accommodations, making it an excellent value. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, and affordable place to stay."
