"The room was clean, the service was great. If you forgot something they did not provide but had a vending machine for items such as toothbrushes etc, The breakfast was adequate but could have been better."

They currently have ongoing renovations but it didn’t affect us at all. We look forward to staying angain after work is complete. "

"The historic building is cool and has great character. The decor in the rooms looks like someone bought a bunch of fake cheap antiques on Temu and scattered them around. The noise at night is terrible, the building is right across the street from a 24-hour active freight railroad. When you arrive, you're given a written note about how they don't issue refunds for noise. The property description should warn you about the noise before you book, it really is impossible to sleep. "The room was clean but it was so tiny. You couldn’t even open a suitcase. Tiniest room I’ve ever seen. Too claustrophobic. We did not stay there and moved on. Very disappointed!!!!"

"Hosts were outstanding on check in. I arrived later in evening around 7:30 pm and they were friendly and receptive and recommended dining options. Even walked me down to the cabin to show the way in the dark. Room was immaculate and beautifully done and very comfortable. Would stay here anytime when within the area. Good location and convenient to attractions, dining, and all basic staples."

"We stayed at The Dalles Inn which is connected to The Rayland but is the less expensive option. We highly recommend. Super clean. Great bed and pillows. You can tell it’s an older hotel the has been remodeled a few times but it is well done. We would definitely stay there again. Greg at the front desk is amazing."
