"Can’t recommend this hotel enough. We had such a lovely stay. The rooms were huge and the balcony was a huge added plus. Everyone working there was so friendly and went out of their way to help us. The location is beyond perfect- it’s super safe and walkable to the V&A and Oranjezicht market. Some reviewers negatively compared it to the neighboring Queen Victoria hotel, but we actually preferred how close the Dockhouse is to the pool area. We’ll definitely stay again on our next trip to Cape...

"The staff were super friendly - especially in the morning for breakfast! The room and hotel itself was in great condition and the club amenities were fantastic. It was great being able to go have a little snack and beverage. Very clean, great location and a very nice view from the hotel. "

"The breakfast was excellent and the services fantastic. The hotel was spotless... our room was not big but it had a great views of the harbor. Would definitely recommend staying there because of the location as well. I had was an issue with the bathroom they put a door stopper on the floor immediately in front of the toilet it makes it which makes sense because it's protected big glass door. My toes however have a different perspective"
