"This was not the best stay. I needed to ask someone to come vacuum my room after I checked in. The floor was gross. There was no ice in the ice machine and the vending machine did not dispense drinks. The shuttle was not ready for airport transfer even though it was requested ahead of time and the staff was not all that friendly."

"When we arrived, the hotel sent a welcome message and said respond to this text if there is anything we can do. The toilet had a filthy wide black ring of bacteria around the water line. I responded to this text as instructed and even sent a picture. No one ever responded to the text or cleaned the toilet. Nastiest hotel ever"

"Based on the ratings, we decided to give this place a chance for our daughter’s Parents Weekend at ECU. I knew it wasn’t going to be a traditional hotel and wasn’t expecting anything fancy.

"We were given two rooms for our family and discovered bugs in both of them almost immediately.
In one room, bugs were found around the TV and directly on the pillows and bedding. In the second room, we saw at least 10 bugs in dark areas around and under the TV. Many were about the size of a nickel, with some closer to the size of a quarter.
