"The smell was absolutely horrible - and it lingers on everything I had with me on the trip. Carpets were filthy & stained. Comforter & blankets had numerous old cigarette burns all over them. Mattress VERY old and worn out. There was a wooden block under my bed holding the middle of the sagging bed up. The upholstered chair was covered in stains. The towels were very small worn and scratchy. There were gross fingerprint sized globs of an unknown substance on the remote. I was supposed to be...

"Good for a one night late stay. Probably wouldn’t recommend more than that. Property was well maintained but showing plenty signs of age. Funny smells and old aged carpet in hallways. Rooms are clean for what they are age wise, but definitely in need of a renovation. Staff was polite and helpful,"

"Hands down best place to stay in Spokane area. Even better if you’re on a budget! We needed last minute lodging while traveling through the area with our pup. We also may or may not like to gamble and play video poker. We were also starving and it was 10:00 pm on a Wednesday. Lo and behold we found the Spokane Casino that was located just outside of town. Video poker earnings paid for lodging and dinner! They were super accommodating with our dog. Rooms were VERY clean and updated. Smelled...

"If I we're too see the actual property before I booked the room , We would not stay at this place. It looked ok from the outside but the place hadn’t been updated for decades, we didn’t even have a lamp on the nightstand."

"The facility was older but clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My room was satisfactory, but the bathroom was in poor shape. The bathtub had some type of epoxy like they use on boats all over the bottom of the tub. It was bumpy and peeling. The bathtub was very uninviting. I contemplated not showing because it looked like the stuff on the tub would come off. I would definitely not take a bath."

"The hotel is in historical downtown Spokane, a little hard to find the parking but we were able too, the hotel is amazing in good shape, old and high ceilings, so beautiful. Breakfast was included and there is an elevator. As a travel agent I would recommend this hotel to my clients and anyone that wants to stay in a character hotel. We will be back."

Close to downtown with plenty of food spots, things to do, and people out enjoying the area, it has that perfect balance of city life without feeling overwhelming. "Staying here is like stepping back in time to a more elegant and refined era. The house is filled with antiques and has been decorated with great taste. It has a wonderful sitting area downstairs, and the bedrooms are whimsical and delightful. The breakfasts far exceeded my expectations. Maybe best thing of all is the proprietor, Holland. She is warm, engaging and thoroughly charming. My wife and I hope to have reasons to visit Spokane, again, soon, so we can stay here, again. "
