"If you are looking for a quiet and economical place to stay this is perfect. I loved that it has a nice large grassy area right to the ocean. The room we stayed in didn’t have a balcony, but everything was renovated and clean."

"The room was clean enough, however when an advertise a kitchenette, there’s no microwave no toaster only one frying pan and a stove top with two burners that did not work very well. Had trouble even frying an egg. The rooms are very small."

"We regularly travel with a large sports team and this was our all-time favourite tournament hotel. We loved the gazebo outside for team meals and found the staff very accommodating. This is a well-designed hotel, and the proximity to picturesque Ladysmith was an added bonus. Would definitely recommend to teams traveling for tournaments in Nanaimo."

"We booked this hotel through Expedia based on the excellent reviews and photos, but our experience was extremely disappointing. The room was old, had a strong unpleasant smell, and was not clean. We informed the staff, but they had no better room to offer, and we couldn’t find another place to move to. The breakfast was very poor - just basic toast with very limited options.
