"The area is quiet. Our bedroom is clean. Refreshments is always available, you just need to ask the receptionist. Special mention to Hash and Mariam who has been very supportive in our stay, from giving us directions about the area and which app to use for booking transports. They are very accommodating. "To start, just walking thru the village in Varenna was amazing! Then we got to the piazza that was all lit up with twinkling lights on every tree. The Hotel Royal Victoria didn’t disappoint. The staff was warm and friendly and our room was absolutely beautiful! There was a hand written note and treats waiting for us. The view of Lake Como was incredible. The room was clean and we enjoyed a wonderful nights sleep in the comfortable bed. The breakfast spread and view from every table was a bonus. We hope to return again someday! "

"I liked everything about this hotel. The staff were courteous and friendly. I was travelling alone and had booked a single room. While it was quite small, it was really nice and I had a view of the lake. The hotel has a great old world charm. The restaurant was very nice and the breakfast was excellent and included in the price. I can thoroughly recommend the Albergo terminus. "
