"Bathroom was not very clean. Mold in shower, something splattered on the wall next to the toilet. Very dirty grout on the floor.
Light above the coffee bar was burnt out. "
"Location was great for our travel plans. Easy to find and get to. Our upstairs room was lovely, however the stairs were not ideal (we are in our 70’s ) for carrying luggage. Website said there was an elevator but we couldn't find it. We stayed in the main house which is also lovely. Property was lovely. Check-in was easy
although there were no staff which is stated on the website.
There was a sign posted in the kitchen about ‘due to staff shortages’….so we completely passed on breakfast which was poor…a basket of not desirable pre-pkgd bakery goods and bars. We headed out to local diner Charlies and had a Thigpen sandwich…it was excellent!
We chose to go to Sams BBQ for our dinner. MUST go there! Smoked wing, brisket sandwich and smoke turnip greens were the best Ive ever had!!!!!!

"I think they have sausage every morning and they don’t seem to be worried about refilling it, one morning it wasn’t even 7 and there was no meat, there’s construction going on not to far from the hotel and around 6 you’ll hear forklifts backing up non stop all day long. I was in town for a quick job, and this seemed like a good location, 17 minutes from the job, it’s by a good Mexican restaurant and across the street from a gas station but I was wrong, it can take over 5 minutes just to be able to pull out of this place and if your turning left you’re better off going right and going down to the roundabout, then for some reason my floors almost empty and they put families with small children all around me, I didn’t even stay my last night here bc I wasn’t about to put up with that on top of all other things, so keep in mind if coming here for work. They will put people all around you even if the buildings mostly empty, they’ll run out of breakfast, you’ll spend time pulling out and saying it’s over 5 minutes is no exaggeration. I don’t think I’ll come back to this place but maybe if my reason for visiting wasn’t work I’d have a better experience then I did but it’s not a good hotel for someone working out of town."
