Incredibly walkable but be advised the surrounding streets are cobble/stone in case you are wheeling luggage’s or requesting a ride share. It may be that you need to walk to the nearest street. "This is a lovely place to stay in Palermo. It is a great location, very close to the food markets and the key sites. We had such a warm welcome, as we arrived straight off the overnight train from Naples & they offered us coffee & breakfast. Also we were given our room early as it was available. The family suite with 2 bedrooms is perfect for travelling with children. Thanks for such a great stay & your hospitality!"

Initially difficult to find, driving in was a very tight squeeze with a mid-sized SUV, but once we were in, we found the office and gate no problem, and the staff were very helpful. I believe the owner's name is Guila - she is extremely accommodating, hard-working, and prepares a full breakfast with eggs, fruit, pasties, etc for all of the guests every morning. "Was not really clean. Often times toilet paper was missing. Beds were uncomfortable. It's really hard to reach the top bunkbeds. The bottom bunk bed mattress was sunken in so I kept sliding in a hole"
