"Very pleasently surpised. The property is definitely older but we'll maintained. Staff were all great. All inclusive offer was pretty generous and good value with a range of drinks and snacks included throughout the day. Buffet meals had a pretty good variety. Strong focus on cleanliness and hygiene throughout the property with disinfectant gel everywhere. Rooms and beds were comfortable and functional."

"The apartment was spacious, but the shower was mouldy. The sofa bed was ripped. The door separating the bedroom kept banging if the window was open, we blocked it shut with our trolley bag which then got a thick layer of dust. There was no soap in the toilet when we arrived. Whilst it was spacious, it looked very different from the pictures on hotels.com and for me personally had a depressing feel to it. Upon informing the hotel, they said they would clean the shower, they refilled the soap...

"The welcome form the staff here was exceptional. We arrived late and our Sat Nav took us to the rear of the Hotel where a friendly builder directed us to the back entrance to the Hotel, which was hard to see in the dark. Everything in the room was perfect and as described - 5 stats all round thank you "

"Our experience with Opuntia is a stark contrast to our experiences in Granda, Seville and Ronda. This Inn has no relationship with parking garage. No reservation was secured for our stay with much advance communication. All lots and street parking 100% full. After more than 1.5 hours circling the town Inn Keeper said not my problem. He has café, souvenir shops etc. which are more important than Inn. He said he is aware of this problem but not his issue. After 2 hours we left Mijas. No refund....

"Great location for lots of restaurant options and beach access. Rooms could use a little upgrade but were very clean and comfortable. Nice welcome drinks and buffet breakfast was lovely. Easy location to get a taxi to main sights and attractions. Would stay again "

"The room I stayed in was a bit tired, with paint missing on the bottom of the door. The air conditioning also was very poor and luckily, as it wasn't that warm outside, it made more sense to have the balcony doors open to make the room cool, rather than having the A/C on. Apart from that, the room was comfy enough, with a fridge and plenty of cupboard space and a safe. There was no kettle on the room but I asked for one from reception and got one brought by the comfort team, The balcony was big...
