"From the moment we arrived til the time we left all staff we met made a big positive impact with our stay. Check in, bar, dining and service staff were great. As we are on an extended trip of 3 months staff changed our room to thd lower floor so we didn't have to lug our suitcases upstairs. We had a lunch and a dinner and both were wonderful and well priced."

" Room was perfect for my needs. The hotel grounds are just stunning Breakfast in a castle is pretty top tier! Good options for breakfast and everything was well cooked and delicious, had more a bed and breakfast feels rather than hotel with more intimate table service. I would have preferred better quality and more options with bread, rather than low quality white and brown sliced for toast that was served. I did feel this let down the breakfast. This is the only reason I dropped a star. "

"Beautiful old house with large bedroom. Very comfortable bed (one of the best out of 14 hotels) which was much needed due to the jet lag. Wonderful staff and walkable village shops and pubs "
