"Had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant and the selection was excellent with comparable prices. Window view if the harbour was nice to take in while we dined. The room was great. Also had a nice view of the harbour. The property has sea shore paths to walk and explore the immediate area and the harbour taxi was in close proximity to skip across the water to see and venture out into the downtown core or across the The Empress and adjacent shops. Would definitely stay there again!"

"Upon check-in we were greeted by the staff whom were super friendly. It was our first time in Victoria so they were able to tell us about the surrounds and attractions. The building had a very historic vibe and the room was clean. Overall we had a great time and would recommend to anyone looking to avoid big chain hotels and find something local and unique."

"Amenity was very extensive, great value for the money. My 700sqft suite felt very comfortable, however we felt some of the finishing and layout is a bit outdated. Amenity within the kitchen was very helpful for us considering dining in the suite instead of spending extra money dining out. "

"We stayed here May 2023 so our trip this year 2026 was just as good . Perfect location straight up to the Thrifty supermarket. Cooking facilities and utensils good . Stayed in suite 206 again - only criticism is yet again no chairs on the side facing balcony ( last time we asked & they were provided) however with a view of a full skip of rubbish we didnt bother. Good selection & choice of breakfast. items "

"In a good location...walkable to the harbour area. Close to Starbucks, the Od Spaghetti Factory, etc. A 20min walk to the Fisherman's Wharf. Staff were courteous, friendly and very accomodating. Amenities and room is great with Tyneham products in the bathroom. I highly recommend this hotel and will go back sometime in the future."

"There are so many nice things to say about Beaconsfield Inn. The location was great as I was able to walk to downtown, Chinatown, Beacon Hill Park. Even walking in the neighborhood was quiet. The house gave vibes of the early 1900’s with the beautiful wood paneling, fireplaces in every room, furnishings that reflected craftmanship. It was absolutely gorgeous! "We were on the 3rd floor overlooking the streets but it was soundproof so no street noise. And no sound of other guests during our stay. The black out curtains and the comfy beds made for a good night’s sleep."

"Our stay at Dashwood was lovely. It is the perfect location to get all around Victoria quickly. It is next to the ocean / beach and a multipurpose path and across from Beacon Hill park. "They need to fire the robot. We booked this room because the room listing had a picture of a balcony. We wanted a balcony, our room did not have a balcony. When I got a robot text asking how the room was I said not great, we don’t have a balcony. It said I was correct. No offer to fix. We got a few more text from the robot during our stay.
