"The property continues to be under construction, therefore the property cleanliness was not a 5 because there was construction material and related trash from that. Off the the hill on the little walking pathway there was trash that needed to be cleaned up. Otherwise the house itself was amazing and staff was very attentive, kind and gave so much grace to my elderly parents. Wonderful neighborhood that was a residential quiet space."

"The room is large, bright, clean, well laid out and the bed is very comfortable. The kitchenette was well stocked with everything we needed,
The staff at the front desk, especially the two young New Zealanders, were always friendly and helpful,
In addition, we also enjoyed the Aegir Room, the in house restaurant. I had their
sea food chowder and it was the best chowder I have ever had and I have tried many."

"I had a wonderful stay at the Amethyst Inn for the Victoria Marathon weekend. Staying in a historic Victorian mansion added such a unique and relaxing charm to the trip.

What truly blew me away, however, was the incredible staff. When I...

"We have stayed at this property four times now and will stay again next time we are in Victoria. The staff are very helpful and friendly, the hotel is very clean and the pool area well maintained. We haven't tried the hotel restaurants but spoke to other guests that said both the lounge and restaurant are great.
