Salana boutique hotel is a truly charming place to stay. The property itself is beautiful, with so much attention to detail in the design and atmosphere. The staff were warm, attentive. We got the 2nd floor with side street view which was very quiet . Room was okay and bathroom needs some update.
We stayed in the hotel for 5 nights
Starting from the second day, after we came back from outside and after the room cleaning it smelled stinky, the type of odor from the sewer. we have is the smell in the rooms and bathrooms. i think it's from a poor sewage system or something. They send house keepers right away and also asked if we want to change the room.But we had only few nights left and after room freshener it was much better.
Breakfast is delicious- upon ordering from the menu also has decent Buffet breakfast options. The buffet selection was limited, but it should be sufficient for guests who don’t have high expectations or require a large variety and their staffs are courteous and friendly too.
Great location in downtown Vientiane, 2 min walk from the night market and countless shops and restaurants and massage places.
