"By far the best hotel in downtown Portland. We’ve stayed here 4 or 5 times now and it’s always been consistent with really great customer service, from front desk to housekeeping. Everyone we encountered was so nice, accommodating and helpful! We can’t wait to come back next year when we return for Halloweentown in St Helens! "

"We love this place. It’s old school Hollywood vibes make it feel like you’re staying at a luxury hotel. We ate breakfast at Gracie’s and it didn’t disappoint. Perfect size portions of hard to pick which one breakfast yummies. "

"While I saw a couple of reviews that mentioned noise, the streets outside of this hotel were quiet during my one might at this hotel (a Wednesday night). I did hear one instance of squealing tires and thought, “Oh no. Here we go.” But my room was extremely quiet after then. Also, the in-room turntable and vinyl records, as well as the tokens for complimentary coffees at the neighboring coffee shop, were very nice touches."

"Very well-managed and well-kept, this motel is a superb deal relative to its room prices. The owners are extremely friendly and pleasant. The hotel is very conveniently located, just yards away from food cards, streetcar stations, tram stations, and Portland State Univ’. I will also mention how easily accessible this hotel is from Portland’s interstate freeways (I-5 and I-84). Great place!"

"The staff were friendly checking in and out. The room was clean. The remote for the TV was horrible, you had to have it at a certain height and angle to work. The microwave sounds like it was going to break, but did work. The bed felt comfortable at first until it wasn't. Little sleep because the toilet would run then not run then run again. We missed breakfast due to doctors appointment, so cannot comment on that. Would I stay here again? Probably not. I don't like giving negative reviews, but...
