"The room was ok, but missed airconditioning. The staff is not very helpful and they only speak French, they even do not try to speak English or try to help you. When you run a hotel and only speak French that is not the way to do. Food is good, taste and quality."

"Our check in could be described as perfunctory boarding on the brusque . Upon arrival and pressing the bell we waited a few minutes and someone came along. Didn’t introduce himself or even say “ Welcome etc”, just “what is your name, then your room number is, handed over keys and asked about breakfast. We weren’t even told about the residents lounge ( which we discovered the next morning - a bit too late by then). Rooms were moderately clean, with a couple of spiders and cobwebs in the ceiling...

"Very comfortable room (the ones with a balcony in the range 31-36 ish). Warm (it was end Nov), attractive, carpeted (always a bonus), beautiful sunrise view. We’ve tried all room types over 20 years at Val Moret but this is our favourite so far (already booked for next 3 visits). Reception lady was very helpful and attentive. Tout était parfait, de notre accueil, en passant par la qualité de la literie, la propreté impeccable et les petits déjeuners très copieux. "La chambre est spacieuse et bien équipée, les lits sont confortables et propres. La salle de bain est grande et la douche à l'italienne top. Le pommeau de douche pas terrible. Par contre, le sol est froid car en pierre mais ttrès joli. Il y a quand même un manque de ménage sous les lits avec pas mal de poussière. Le petit-déjeuner est complet et bien fournis. Bon séjour dans l'ensemble"
