"The Grande Roche is a wonderful place with such kind, happy and thoughtful management and staff. In particular thank you to Marchello, Denai and Veena for making my stay so comfortable - you are wonderful people! The whole vibe is very chilled and friendly. "Our stay was amazing! We were in and out, staying just one night, but loved our stay at The Whale on Main. Thomas was an amazing host, he walked us through where to go in town and what to see. And as we were leaving, he helped us plan the path we should take to our next destination. He even printed out a map for us that included all the stops! I would absolutely recommend staying here for a wonderful visit to Hermanus."

"I am a repeat visitor to Pontac. A lovely place to spend time at, especially outside on the stoep. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The rooms are great, wonderful views of the mountains surrounding Paarl. Definite value for money. The only area for improvement would be breakfast, it is okay, but could use some attention."

"Amazing stay - the villa was huge, well-equipped, and clean. A separate bedroom balcony & large patio area looked upon a lake and the mountains of Franschhoek - beautiful! We didn't use the pool, but it looked great from a distance. In-suite laundry was a game changer, and though we didn't use it, the full kitchen could be useful. I'd say here again in a heartbeat."

"A really lovely stay, felt like a home from home with the staff when we arrived. Everything very clean and tidy. Breakfast options excellent, fresh and tasty but a little slow depending on when you went down. Pool area great, only strange thing was the pool cleaner and pipe was left in 24/7 so you had to swim around it. Pool was immaculate though because of it 😊 Would definitely recommend and will stay again when visiting! "
