"Very clean and close to attractions!"

"We have been to Virginia Beach many times but this was our first time staying at the Colony. We were in one of the end rooms and found the floor plan worked very well and the rooms were spacious. Everything was clean and the beds were comfortable. The balcony was the largest of all of the places we had stayed at in Virgina Beach. "We were promised internet/wifi and it didn’t work the entire trip. Contacted the property and she said it was but it wasn’t working until the day we checked out. The beds are IKEA very cheap. Clean but cheap. The couch wasn’t comfortable at all. The TV didn’t have an outlet to plug into or an extension cord to reach to another plug. Finally found an extension coming from the side of the refrigerator on the other side of the wall but had to move the tv over to reach. Once turned on, we were back...

"Location is the only reason the scores were this high. Cleanliness was mediocre at best. There was dog hair on the couch, dirty floors in areas, black specs on the sheets, cheap finishes, dishwasher didn’t work, walls were paper thin, bedroom outlets didn’t work at all, and we booked a different room altogether.
