"Our stay at The Colony, was great! The front desk clerk was very kind and knowledgeable. Check in was smooth with no problems. The unit was clean, the kitchen was nicely stocked with utensils and cookware. A nicely sized ocean view balcony, steps away from the beach. There were fun activities for kids and adults staying at the resort, and my grandgirls thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The pool was clean and very enjoyable. "We were promised internet/wifi and it didn’t work the entire trip. Contacted the property and she said it was but it wasn’t working until the day we checked out. The beds are IKEA very cheap. Clean but cheap. The couch wasn’t comfortable at all. The TV didn’t have an outlet to plug into or an extension cord to reach to another plug. Finally found an extension coming from the side of the refrigerator on the other side of the wall but had to move the tv over to reach. Once turned on, we were back...

"Location is the only reason the scores were this high. Cleanliness was mediocre at best. There was dog hair on the couch, dirty floors in areas, black specs on the sheets, cheap finishes, dishwasher didn’t work, walls were paper thin, bedroom outlets didn’t work at all, and we booked a different room altogether. Location was amazing. "
