You will not regret it - I found this absolute GEM of a place for an overnight work trip! The people working here are the most attentive, polite and genuine people I’ve met in a very long time. "Room was very nice, clean and comfortable. Tina at check-in was friendly and welcoming. Had dinner in the Pub. Food and service were great. Only complaint was that the lighting was poor which made the menu hard to read. I had to use the light on my cell phone to read the menu. "

"I have known of this property for over 50 years by annual trips to the Blue Ridge Parkway. I have seen the property in the early years, the desolate years and now as a completely remodeled roadside inn. You do not find properties like this anymore. "We stayed in the main house and the accommodations were excellent and staff very friendly. Seems they are just getting established as the liquor license was issued the day of our departure and in house dining was not yet available. Breakfast was top shelf. It is a bit remote and off property activities require a long drive."
