With two bedrooms, a sleeper sofa, a dining room, a small kitchenette, and a balcony overlooking the main street, we had everything we needed and then some! There is a grocery store a block away and you are close to everything! Nice and vibrant downtown area and a close walk to the water. "Room was clean and kitchen was equipped. Shower was good and sufficient for 1 night stay. There was a lot of food smells in the apartment, but this is expected from a place with kitchenette. Location was good, close to all main shopping."

"We had super easy to follow instructions for checking in and how to work everything there and about the local shops. Great location for going on tours just 50 meters from tourist bus stop 12. Had to contact the people once online and had instant reply. Every thing you could need for a stay. Wonderful to have a washing machine and dryer in the apartment"

"The property was exactly as advertised and our family of 4 enjoyed our stay. The location was great with it being easy to walk to any of the big tourists spots and there was parking. We reached out to the owners several times and they were amazing! The only item of not is the property is on a Main Street in a city across from a bus stop so there is some road noise but that is to be expected."

"Nettes Zimmer, sehr zentral gelegen, sodass wir in Reykjavik alles zu Fuß machen konnten. Beim Checkin am Abend gab es ein Missverständnis rund um Zimmer bzw. Zugangscode, das aber schnell gelöst wurde, da die Agentur immer verfügbar war und geholfen hat. Im Badezimmer gab es leider einen leicht unangenehmen Geruch, wohl bedingt durch das Wasser in Island. Ansonsten hat alles gut gepasst!"

"This location and amenities was ideal for our trip to be right next to Hallgrimskirkja, and bus stop #8 and within walking distance of the waterfront with Viking ship, grocery stores, and even bus stop #11 for excursions. This hotel also offers privacy of not having day to day intrusions of house keeping staff etc. I highly recommend this location for its location and value! "

"We enjoyed our stay at Alfred's. The apartment was in a great location. The bathroom, while very small, functioned well. The apartment was cheery and bright. It is right across the path from Reykjavik Chips, a burger and basics restaurant that had great shakes. Very handy for a quick bite. The manager was very pleasant. Highly recommend!"
