"First off, you have to know what you are booking. This is a university dorm room with 2 twin beds and institional decor. There are shared bathrooms on each floor. This is not for all travellers. But if you're easy-breezy and just need a bed to sleep in while you explore St. John's, it's great!"

"The lighting in the room wasn't great and in the bathroom it was very poor. I could hardly see in the mirror. The towels and face cloths were very thick. This can be good and bad - bad in that the face cloth was impossible to use. It was too thick to wring out. The pillows were overstuffed. The hotel did not have any less stuffed. "Allez the personnal was perfect"

"I had a pleasant stay here. As a solo female traveler i felt safe and comfortable. The place is old and hasnt been updated but they've done a good job with maintaining the cleanliness. Staff was pleasant. There was a mini fridge, air dryer and microwave which was helpful. It was also really quiet unlike a lot of other placea I have stayed. I would stay here again."

"Our king room was beautiful and had a very nice stay. However, the breakfast that was included with our room rate was extremely disappointing. We had stayed there a couple of years ago and had paid extra for breakfast then and it was much, much better -way more selection and more of a real breakfast.
