"Front desk staff was exceptional; I showed up before check in time and the room was not yet ready, so I checked my bags and checked out the neighborhood. The hotel is just steps away from a convenience store that has (real) groceries, including the pre-packaged dinners and sandwiches (very delicious); also sells souvenirs and a pretty extensive liquor dept. the Mai tai pub has a good menu and good live entertainment on the weekends. Also located very close is a cute pub with live entertainment nightly. Oh! And across the Kalia street is The Best Chicken Wings and Fries I have ever had (at ChickennUniversity). The place also has awesome Korean BBQ! You can’t ask for a better location! The hotel and room were very nice, clean, and comfortable. I was also n the 11th floor and had a great view! I highly recommend staying here!"
