"Two times the closet leaked and soaked my backpacks, shoes and other items. After the second time I would think that I would receive some sort of compensation or moved me to another room. I had to put all items on the balcony for a couple of days to dry out. Also the bed in room 630 needs to be looked at - it slants to the right while sleeping."

"The property was absolutely close to everything. The beach, The International Market Place all of the restaurants and places to get food. The ABC Stores for alcohol and souvenirs. All of the high end stores from YSL to PRADA. It’s in the center of it all. The staff is super friendly and helpful, the ac is really cold in the rooms. Loved that it was just a little dated but, not enough for you to not want to stay. Also when you checkout if you have a later flight they will as if you want them...

"This hotel was excellent!! My main need for a hotel is for sleeping, so if it has cold a/c, I’m pleased. The amenity I look forward to the most is the hot tub!! I was bummed it was not working most of our stay. It’s out of their control for a part to go out and then have the new part be delayed to come in and it didn’t ruin our stay. "A classic old school hotel, the Queen Kapiolani boasts a stunning unobstructed view of Diamond Head and a restaurant/bar with delicious food and tasty cocktails.
Although a little older, the rooms were comfortable and clean. The only downside was the street noise. We were on the 19th floor and could easily hear the traffic from the street, if we were on the balcony, we could hear conversations from other balconies/the pool.
