"Wow, the Blennerhassett Hotel is full of surprises. I booked for all the usual reasons - looked historical and charming, clean, good reviews. After check in (and they upgraded me which was nice), I had a question for the front desk and my heart melted when I saw a darling doggie friend looking back at me from behind the desk. Turns out the hotel partners with the local humane society, and has helped 200 dogs find new homes!!! They have a wall of adoptee photos across from the front desk and usually provide hosting to a dog until he/she gets adopted. That's really all I need to know and am a fan for life.
But wait, there's more! Evidently the place is haunted, and you can learn more about that from staff. The hotel and room was very clean and comfortable, people were nice, I enjoyed the amazing historical photos/memorabilia, and they have a lovely bar with decent options. Blennerhassett is a gem."
"Honestly hardly ever leave hotele reviews outside of just ratings but this hotel was a cheap pleasant surprise.. the pool was down but otherwise it was clean and the ppl working were helpful"
"The two ladies at the front desk were very helpful for anything we needed didn’t like the location of the room far from elevators we are 68 years old but we did enjoy our stay"
"Everything was great and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Only disappointment was the swimming pool. It was so cloudy we couldn’t see into it. No way we were getting into it. I reported it to the receptionist and was told the pool gets cleaned once a week and that they would report it."
