"This is a relatively inexpensive place to stay in Nanaimo, and did very well in that category. We just needed a place to spend the night before boarding the ferry the next day. The place was clean and the staff was efficient and friendly. An included continental breakfast was available, but we could choose to eat breakfast at a restaurant on site at a discount. (The restaurant was open all day with largely breakfast oriented fare.) There was a pool onsite that I didn't use. Our room included a small refrigerator, coffee maker and microwave, which was helpful."

"Our room was nothing like the photos on their website. Super rundown and shabby. Shredding towels and bathmat, chipped sink and counters. Pealing floor. Stained and drooping ceiling tiles. Lumpy bed small tv. Fridge was fine. Would not recommend. In dire need of renovation. Very disappointed"

"Bed was the best part of the room. Had a good sleep. Room is basic but it’s what the price covers. No hair dryer, only one towel was in the room and I asked for more and got 2 face towels. Given I asked after housekeeping was gone… still should have extra towels that are accessible. Coffee in room… there was a coffee maker and 3 packets of instant coffee… there was one package of sugar, creamer and a stir stick - it was open with the sugar missing. I would stay here again if needed on a quick overnight but not for a longer period. "

"My room was clean and quiet which is most important, but the rest of the property (hallways/lobby) felt a bit dirty and unkept. I'd stay again but wasn't crazy about it. Staff seemed great."
