"This hotel stay provided what we needed but could definitely use some updates. The bed was clean and we had enough space for getting ready for an event we were going to. I would the shower could be bigger and have an actual shower curtain instead of just a regular curtain. There isn't any shelving to put your things. When you're getting ready in the bathroom. A full length mirror could be useful. We did appreciate the hanging hooks for our outfits. One of the things I noticed the most was the carpeting feeling moist and having several stains so hardwood flooring would have been ideal. There were some things that needed repairs like holes and cracks. There was light shining through cracks of the doorway. Otherwise, the bed was comfortable and clean. The room was kept cool with the air conditioner. The front staff was very friendly and parking was convenient. It was also a very good location to the harbor stores and restaurants. The front office had a refrigerator, microwave and coffee machine which was helpful."
"Incompetent staff.
Unfortunately even if you carry an honor status you can't get room service daily . Even making of bed . Bathrooms need to be wiped down and vacuum daily . Very disappointing . Will stay with Marriott property next time ."
"I have stayed in many historic spas/resorts and this one left me disappointed. Staff appeared brand new, were unable to answer basic questions and had no idea how to get the answers. Basic items were non-existent like a directory of services in the room, items to go with the coffee like sugar or stirrers, lighting in the living room area to even read by. They were pushing boat rides but no one could tell us where the boat would go once we paid $30 per person??? I’m hoping it was just the start of the season and they get their act together for the sake of future guests."
"Room could use a paint job and some deep cleaning. Staff is amazing as is the restaurant which was quite a surprise. Heated pool was great outside room chair are great and relaxing and breakfast was excellent."
"Loved our 2 night visit! The pool was amazing. We loved our complimentary boat ride along the bay. Lincoln was a great captain! Great dinner at the restaurant and the breakfast was fun too! I loved all the activity options and enjoyed the beautiful gardens!"
