"Avonpark House is a very good travellers rest. Comfortable and clean, our room was a reasonable size as was the ensuite. It’s a walkable distance into the centre of town. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. Good parking available and an excellent breakfast."

"Great location, lovely comfy room."

"What an idyllic delight!!! It’s an old home, but it was so comfortable! Our room was huge, and the breakfast buffet in the morning right outside our door was perfect. The tea & biscuits waiting for us in our room upon arrival were much appreciated, and I got to watch one of the most beautiful sunsets of my life over the sheep fields."

"Directions made it easy to find Lovely grounds Room clean and tidy Breakfast as expected"

"Excellent host. The communication was really good and she was accommodating of our check in time which was later than the standard time at late notice. The room was very clean and view was amazing. Breakfast was awesome as well. 10/10. Highly recommended."

"Great value for money, well-equipped kitchen, just what we needed for an overnight stay on a long journey. Bit of difficulty finding the place, as the flat number given on hotels.com was incorrect, and we didn’t receive an email giving us directions as we should have. In the end we had to download the app in order to find the directions, and zoom in on a photo of the front door to discover the correct flat number!"

"I messaged them before I made my way to them. There was no reply, no one at the property when I arrived. Hotels.com took a while to help but they managed to find me a much better stay."
