"Hotel Murano is centrally located close to theater, museum and restaurants. The room and beds were clean and comfortable. The main lobby and conference needs a makeover ~ carpets and sofa's showed considerable wear. The hotel is currently working on renovations. The lounge and restaurant were extremely noisy with hammering and sawing during our visit. Once finished it will be a big improvement to the hotel. I will definitely return when visiting the Tacoma area."
"The staff were incredibly helpful when I got there with my party. The breakfast was also absolutely delicious. There weren’t too many amenities to use, but it’s fine because we didn’t need anything extra. 10/10 would stay again."
"Stayed 1 day! Staff was helpful as we arrived early and got us into our room as soon as she could! Staff also pointed us in the direction of a restaurant called “sharps” and it was really good! Shuttle to the airport was a plus."
"1-Star Review: Deceptive Photos, Unsafe, and Filthy am deeply disappointed with my stay at this property and cannot recommend it to anyone.
The hotel looks absolutely nothing like the pictures online.
Room & Cleanliness Issues:
1.) Filthy bedding: The sheets were heavily stained upon arrival.
2.) Bad odors: The room had a foul, persistent smell.
3.) Water damage: There were visible stains all over the ceiling.
4) Poor layout: The bathroom is cramped; the toilet is too close to the sink to sit comfortably, and the lid gets stuck on the handle.
5.) Terrible Customer Service: When I requested a room change due to these conditions, staff refused. Instead, they handed me fresh sheets and expected me to remake the bed myself, which is completely unacceptable for paying guests.
Safety & Amenities:
1.) Security concerns: The elevators are vandalized with profanity carved into them. Dangerous environment: Loiterers and individuals engaging in suspicious activity outside made entering the hotel a stressful ordeal. The property desperately needs security.
2.) Misleading parking: Guests should know that parking is not on-site; you must park down the street at the Bank of America lot.
Avoid this hotel until management addresses their hygiene, safety, and customer service standards."
"Basic old style motel, but pricey. No luggage rack, no hangers, no place to put soap, shampoo in shower, no towel racks, poor drainage in sink, no overhead lighting, iron but no ironing board. Clean and good mattress. Need more outlets by bed."
