"Decent breakfast. Great interior. I would recommend my friend to stay here and would be glad to revisit. One minor thing to improve is the sound insulation. The room next door kept opening and closing the door at midnight, and the motorcycle roaring at night, we all heard clearly and hard to sleep."

"I called the front desk to ask for shower chair for my mom, she’s handicapped, they gave me a shower table for baby, it’s way too big in the tub, I called again, but the girl who’s very rude. I do not want to go back this hotel again, do not recommend it"

"The staff was absolutely amazing but I have to admit the room was a little, eh. I couldn't tell if it smelled like smoke or mold or both but it had a really bad odor to it. There was a stain on the chair in the room. Booked cause it is really close to the airport but ended up not sleeping in my room. And just going to catch my flight super early."

"EXPEDIA SHOULD NOT RECOMMEND A HOTEL WHILE THERE IS RENOVATION GOING ON. Terrible property to spend a night. Small room, very inadequate bathroom and shower. It’s next to the highway, more like a truck stop so many 18 wheelers, construction material visible, dumpster and pallets, not a safe location. If you need a clean, safe and comfortable check it out before booking. Doesn’t deserve more than 1 star."

"Been staying at the Whitney Peak Hotel for more than twenty years. It has gone downhill recently - probably related to the Hilton purchase. Some of the staff seem to be out-to-lunch. Asked for a restaurant recommendation and was directed to Denny's. Not OK. The Whitney Peak is still the only hotel in Reno I am aware of that does not have a casino and does not allow smoking.
